Cheyenne Promotions is the heart and soul of country music and dance weekends, a tradition that has been thriving since the early '90s. In 2014, this beloved event was passed into the capable hands of Ky and Angie Rivers, who are determined to preserve the true spirit of country in an ever-evolving dance scene.
Our Events:
Held three times a year in February, June, and November at the picturesque location of the Grand Burstin Hotel in Folkestone, Cheyenne Promotions is dedicated to keeping country music alive. In a world where the "pop" line dance scene is on the rise, we are resolute in our mission to ensure country music and partner dancing remain alive and well.
Dance Fusion:
One of our unique charms is the graceful integration of partner dancers with line dancers on the dance floor. Ky and Angie, the event organisers and hosts, have created an atmosphere where both styles of dance harmoniously coexist, fostering a vibrant and welcoming community.
Time-Tested Tradition:
Many of our guests have been attending these events for decades, dating back to the early '90s. While we've sadly said goodbye to some dear friends along the way, they remain in our fondest memories. The camaraderie and lasting friendships formed at our events are why our guests return year after year. It's like a home away from home, where like-minded souls share a passion for country music and dance.

The Grand Burstin Hotel:
Our event's venue, The Grand Burstin Hotel, has undergone significant improvements in recent years. With new carpets and furnishings throughout, it offers a comfortable and inviting space. The food is not only great but also abundant, with eat-as-much-as-you-like buffet-style breakfasts and dinners. The hotel staff is always friendly and helpful, ensuring your stay is enjoyable.
Value and Facilities:
We take pride in offering exceptional value for money. In addition to great music and dance, the hotel provides swimming pool and gym facilities for those with extra energy to burn. With three line dance and partner dance workshops led by the UK's most eminent instructors, eight live acts, and country music until the early hours, it's non-stop fun and entertainment from 1pm on Friday to checkout at 10am on Monday.
